CVMO Officers

Elections were held for the 1999-2000 school year in the last month of CVMO meetings. Some stayed and some left, which of course means we have some new officers.

Here they are, the team that will take CVMO into the next millenium!

President: Josh Potteiger

When Mrs. Stout first gave us the idea for a math club, Josh was the one that kept fighting for it.  While rest of us said, "Gee, wouldn't a math club be great,"  Josh made the math club great. Consequently, when we first elected officers Josh became president with no opposition. His landslide method of winning elections was honed further in the 99-00 election.

Josh is an active participant in TSA where, partnered with Phil Wetzel, he won first place in his event at the state level.

Advisor: Mrs. Stout

Mrs. Stout's probably one of the best math teachers that Cumberland Valley has.  In fact, she likes teaching so much that she gave us the Math Club idea to give her even more work! Much thanks to her, or none of this would have happened.

Of course, if you try to thank her, she'll say she hasn't done and doesn't do anything. That it's all student led. That may be so, but she's the main motivating source, and that's just as important.

Oh yeah...

Phil Wetzel:   Internet Communications Officer

Undoubtedly the most important member of CVMO, and as of this year actualy an elected officer. I know that as you've been reading this page, amazed by the excellent writing skills and creativity, you've asked yourself: "WHO IS THE GENIUS BEHIND THIS WORK OF ART??"

Look no further. Phil does this web page and the email mailing list. He's also a very successful member of TSA, as described above, and a member of the CV programming team.
